Customer: I already have these parts, so I don't need everything in this kit.

    Definitely worth it

Posted by Caelin Beaty on Dec 29th 2020

Big improvement to the 92FS. I have very limited experience with things like this (aside from field-stripping & cleaning), but I followed along to the video on YouTube of Ernest and had no problems. Now it's a super-smooth pull on an already great gun. If you're thinking about getting this, do it.

Does NOT actually come in a bag!

Posted by Jeremy Van Gieson on Dec 24th 2020

Allow me to express my disappointment with this product! I ordered this kit for my Beretta 92X. Upon arrival, I opened the package to find all of the stated parts in a plastic clamshell-type container! No Crown Royal bag. No paper lunch bag. No reusable grocery bag. Not even a generic ziplock bag! After recovering from that shock, I installed the parts, directly replacing the existing factory parts in my 92X. I did use a bit of TW-25 to lubricate metal-to-metal contact points. The trigger press in both double action and single action were significantly improved. I used the 13 pound spring, and would estimate the DA pull to be about 7.5-8 pounds. Perfect. In short, this kit is an excellent value, and improves the trigger pulls of a Beretta pistol greatly. Other than the blatant failure to put the parts in a bag, this is fantastic! Do yourself and your Beretta a favor and get this kit.

Feels like Sig P226 with SRT

Posted by Michael on Dec 14th 2020

In combination with the Wilson Tactical Short Reach Trigger, my 92FS now resets like a Sig P226 with an SRT. Installation required some filing on the hammer for the DA to function properly as mine is CA compliant model. I was able to take apart and install the new parts by watching the Langdon videos. Definitely watch the Langdon video on where to file the hammer to get the DA working if having problems.

    LTT Trigger Job

Posted by Zohar on Dec 14th 2020

I recently ordered a black trigger job in a bag. It worked excellently and dropped into the gun just fine for my unprofessional hands. You may want to be careful with some of the small springs that can fly away for those unaware (as usual with guns, they have small tiny springs in places that tend to fly around the room). It took me roughly an hour, the sear spring install was a bit tough to get lined up. As for the trigger spring, I do recommend that crochet hook idea that Ernest mentioned in the install video. Though this isn't really a knock on the product itself, maybe the install video could use a minor update (although it does have some good pictures, it's a bit dark). I thought the M9's trigger was "good enough" after I had already installed the "D Hammer Spring," but I feel the DA/SA pull is significantly smoother and lessened weight feels much better. I have yet to try NP3, but maybe I will consider purchasing an M9A1 through them with the "CA Special" package they offer next year.

Beretta 92 Trigger Job in a Bag

Posted by Jeff in Dallas on Dec 6th 2020

1 - this is an awesome kit; 2 - instructions are widely available; 3 - i did three this weekend - the impact on my 92s (1 LTT, 1 92X and 1 92x compact) are amazing - the double action is smooth and the single action reset is fantastic. Don't freak out - follow the video instructions and you'll have this done in a minute. One of the best DIY things I've ever tried.

    Superb product

Posted by Russ on Nov 30th 2020

Parts dropped in with zero fitment and improved DA and SA immediately. I chose a spur less hammer and a 12# mainspring & had 4 out of 500 light strikes on berdan primed steel cased ammo as one would expect. A second pull of the trigger fired each round off successfully, and all “good” boxer primed ammo fired predictably. Will order two more when available...

    Trigger Job in a Bag

Posted by Daniel Price on Nov 18th 2020

What a difference the trigger job did for my M9A1! Very nice DA trigger pull, around 7 lbs with a #14 hammer spring, and SA around 3-3.5 lbs. and the reset is phenomenal. Recommend it highly. Next on the list is probably the RDO slide.

    Disappointed to QC of part

Posted by TSimons on Nov 16th 2020

It all started out well with the trigger job in a bag but then when I tried to put the new hammer into my 92 it would not fit. Looking over the hammer I discovered a large circular manufacturing burr on the part making it uninstallable as it was.. Not being a gun smith I was not sure what to do however eventually I was able to remove the burr after about a hour with a knife sharpening stone. LTT was recommended by a fellow shooter and we were both surprised by the QC issue. What was more surprising was that when I reached out to LTT to let them know about it issue and sent photos the response was "As you may or may not know, parts escape every manufacturer (or in our case custom shop) in every industry without 100% QC tolerance - it’s a fact of manufacturing, however we always do our best to ensure this doesn’t happen. In the future, please reach out when you first notice an issue or defect and we will be happy to rectify it." I had expected a more customer focused response acknowledging the problem rather than "its a fact of manufacturing" and let us know next time. I do not feel they earned a next time. In the end the trigger job worked out but my expertise to get there was poor.
