“The Foundation Belt” from EDC Belt Co, LLC is 1.5" and made for conceal carry out of Cordura and reinforced nylon webbing, in all of the right places, with a Tri-Glide low profile buckle. The Foundation Belt, by EDC was built to be a functional and comfortable belt for concealed carriers. It is a double taper cut, made with 5 rows of stitching to be comfortable, conform to the wearer and to keep the belt from rolling back and a non-reinforced tag to allow the belt to be fed through the pant loops from either direction. It has a combination of softer materials and SCUBA webbing that only places heavy non flexible SCUBA webbing in the areas you should wear a holster - from appendix to strong side on the non tag side and under the loop tape portion for running the tag through holster loops.
Take the closest even number of your pant size and add 2 For IWB
Example: If you wear a 34 waist pant you wear a 36 belt
Odd size belts generally go up to the next even size.
Example: A 35 waist would typically wear a 36 belt.
Note: You CANNOT tighten the belt below it's nominal size. But, you CAN loosen the belt by 3" (more if you don't' need all the velcro to make contact). Belt can be loosened up to 3" but CANNOT bet tightening below it's nominal size. So you are on the edge, order a size smaller.
If you carry OWB, order your actual size.

My old belts were always too stiff, too flexible, too heavy or had too big a buckle....this belt is the perfect balance of function and comfort.” - G.E. OKC, OK

    Fantastic Belt

Posted by Steven Daly on Jul 17th 2019

I recently purchased the 92 Elite and the Keeper from Keepers Concealment. I found it difficult to carry AIWB with a standard gun belt. After 5 minutes of wearing the Foundation, the difference was night & day.

The belt is amazingly comfortable and keeps the gun in place. Spencer is a genius, he puts velcro on the from of the holster to also keep it in place.

If you are looking for an amazing rig, i highly recommend the Elite 92, Keeper from Keepers Concealment & the Foundation Belt

    The Foundation Belt

Posted by John Bergquist on Jul 10th 2019

As promised, stiff in the right spots and less so where you don't. However, I just got it, and the size seems completely opposite of the description. The description says it can't tighten anymore than the stated length but can go up to 3" bigger. My tab barely reaches the velcro so has room to go like 6" tighter but no looser. Also, not sure this is gonna work for me as I carry at 3:30 right side, which is where all the velcro is. I've left a message for Langdon and will update this when/if they respond.

    CCW belt

I like the flexibility to adjust size the best. No need to worry about being the right fit.
You can adjust it as tight or loose as you like with or without a holster and/or accessories. If your driving, sitting or standing.
I've only had it about a week but so far so good. I like it!

    Concealed carry comfort

The belt is perfect for a big person like me afflicted with TB (two bellies). It is very secure and the buckle does not bit into your skin like some of the leather strong belts.

    Fit & Function

Posted by Steven Horton on May 8th 2019

The Foundation Belt is a good piece of gear. My experience has revealed to me the following highlights.

This belt works very well if you carry any where from the 12 - 4 o'clock position (I am right handed and have not tried the left hand side of the belt / body). If you prefer to carry past 4 o'clock, I'm not sure the double layer of belt material will be available to your rear holster clip.

The length of the belt is a touch on the long side. I wear a size 34 pant and my size 36 belt is almost too long.

For the price I do not believe that you are truly getting what you pay for. If this belt was priced at $35 or less, I believe you would a better bang for your buck.

    Foundation Belt

Recently purchased this belt, less than a month ago, It is as advertised, stiff where needed, flexes where needed. Stays secure no shifting -works well at the range, Only reason for 4 stars- buckle seems a little light -time will tell, I would buy another.

    Carry Belt

The only complaint I have is the Velcro part of the belt system. I do not like that feature of the belt. Other than that I like it. I carry a inside the waist band holster with a full size 1911.

Well made but fit is off....

Posted by John May on May 2nd 2019

My pants size is between 34 and 36. The product description encourages ordering the smaller size if you are between sizes. Therefore, I ordered the 34 and it is way too small. Pulled as tight as I can tolerate, I can only engage about an inch of velcro. Looking at the design, I would have much more flexibility getting a 36 smaller than a 34 larger.
