92 Elite LTT w/LTT Trigger Job

Posted by Bob G. on May 12th 2019

I took possession on Tuesday and headed to the range on Thursday. Simply put, this pistol is a true weapon.
I had never shot a Beretta before and in fact hadn't shot a semi-automatic pistol since I was in Viet Nam where I had a very good Colt 1911 .45ACP. I was an Expert pistol shot but nearly 50 years and in spite of a lot of physical mileage later I was able to shoot this pistol at a very high level almost from the get go. Fifty or so rounds and I was shooting some pretty tight groups. At 100+ rounds I was done for the day so I put up a fresh silhouette at 6-7 yards and fired 7 rounds in succession in rapid target acquisition. Unfortunately this is New York State and I believe that you should practice with what you will be using in a real situation and 7 rounds is the law here. I had a 3.5" group with several dead center hits. Absolutely a great gun to shoot.
I have smaller hands and the thinner grips were quite comfortable. The milled out trigger guard permitted my middle finger a comfortable place to grip. The sights are excellent. It is very easy to acquire a target in rapid firing. And the trigger pull? Phenomenal in both DA and SA. I had no difficulty with the 6# or so DA trigger and the sub 4# SA was a dream. The trigger mechanism is smooth in both modes. Even though there is obviously a difference between them I wasn't particularly aware of it when I fired DA then SA in rapid target acquisition even though I did change my pull technique. in the two modes. I acquired the target and fired. The difference in trigger pulls didn't seem to affect me.
I let the salesman dry fire it at the authorized Beretta dealer gun shop where I had the pistol sent . All he said was "Holy ........"(expletive deleted).
The Elite LTT is a really well done pistol. I couldn't be more pleased.

Best semi-auto on the market. All metal construction, great ergonomics. I have small hands but have no problem with the grip on this gun. The Elite shoots soft and is accurate. Everything you dream about in a firearm. Thanks Langdon Tactical for the ideal platform.

    Elite LTT w/ Trigger Job

Commenting on the quality of this pistol would be redundant, there are plenty of reviews here that already explain how great this is. I’d rather comment on the quality of the customer service they provide. I ordered my LTT late on a Monday evening, while most of the shop was at NRAAM. Even with all that going on my pistol still arrived the following Tuesday. I couldn’t believe it arrived so quickly.

For any vets out there with a bad taste in their mouth from the worn out M9’s we were stuck with, this will remove that and then some. Any issues you might have had with the M9/92 series has been perfectly fixed with the LTT. There is not a single thing I would change about this handgun. If you’re on the fence the LTT will exceed any expectations you have.

92 Elite LTT front sight optic popped out during first hundred rounds.

Posted by Michael Senn on Apr 30th 2019

I am super impressed with the 92 Elite LTT. It shipped quickly to my FFL. I test fired it immediately and found this pistol shoots tighter groups than any of my 6 Beretta 92FS pistols. I gave it 4 stars because the front sight optic popped out during the last stage of a multi-gun match. Still under 100 rounds fired through it. Not a good thing to happen.

This is one nice shooting 92. Because of how the barrel is cut, this pistol is pretty much sized between the 92 fullsize and 92 compact. I have no problem carrying it AIWB and will do so quite often. And since I have no plans to go suppressed, this is a better option for me than the M9A3 (which I do have and like). The pistol is very easy to shoot and very accurate. So, the 64,000 dollar question. Would I do it again? Yes I would! And I did.
