Perfect but Would Like Options for Irons

Posted by Andy on Mar 23rd 2022

I bought this for my 92X fullsize, it's fantastic. Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is I would like the option of not having the skyscraper sights.

This Landon RDO Slide / optic cut is the best solution for a Beretta 92 by far.

Posted by Steve Gill on Mar 9th 2022

I bought the RDO slide for my 92x Centurion. It fit prefect, looks great and provides the lowest sitting optic mount possible for the Beretta 92 series handgun. I sold my 92x slide so I could buy the complete RDO slide. Whether you buy the RDO slide or have yours cut, you cannot go wrong. The RDO slide is great piece of engineering and a quality product. In comparison the Beretta Factory Beretta 92x RDO optic mount puts the optic about 1/4" higher and has no backup sights. The optic also sits very close to the ejection port. You get what you pay for!

    No REGERTS

Posted by Rand Martinez on Dec 31st 2021

I Bought the LTT RDO slide for my 92x Centurion Rdo after researching the LTT RDO and it’s superior design. It arrived in 4 days. It is excellent quality and functions perfectly. My only con if considered as one is the buis height, it’s absolute & the rear design combined w/the height absorbs a lot of the RMR’s view, I did mount a 507cV2 and the view was significantly better but I ultimately chose the rmr for this edc. 1000 flawless rounds later I have now mounted an SRO & hot damn it’s perfect! Went from a cluttered absolute to a wide open 1/4ish. The buis are there, very usable if needed but also out of the way. The slide is well worth the investment and I will own a complete LTT Elite Rdo pistol in the near future.

    Optic Ready Slide

Posted by Ryan Hanson on Nov 11th 2021

Wonderful piece of work. I don't believe in perfect reviews but I still almost gave this a 5 of 5. The fit and finish are spot on and feel better than OEM in the hand. I think of this as my tactical sewing machine because everything is so smooth and precise. I am newer to the holographic dot scene, but this points much more naturally (I find the dot easier) than my other pistols. The fact that it comes with backup irons is appreciated very much by me. I would however like to see an "irons forward" plate available in the future. I will buy that if it becomes available. Keep up the good work at Langdon. If you buy this and are disappointed, you might be weird.

sniper gray RDO slide - 92 compact

Posted by JH on Oct 23rd 2021

This makes 3 RDO ready slides from LTT that I've ordered now, which only speaks to the quality of their products... or my insanity HAHA! But if you have not tried out shooting optics on your pistol yet, get one of these setups NOW!!! Even with ammo being priced so ridiculously, range time can still be extremely rewarding and FUN AS HELL once you get things dialed-in.

    The best of both worlds!

Posted by Doug Waski on Aug 18th 2021

While I'm a huge fan of Berettas and a bigger fan of red dots, I wasn't sure I wanted to have my factory 92X permanently modified. Having a separate, complete slide allows me to get the full RDO experience while allowing me the option of returning to factory configuration if I change my mind. Having said that, I don't think I'll be changing my mind anytime soon. This is awesome! My RMR sits nice and low, giving my aging eyes a fast, efficient, modern sight picture. Construction, fit, and finish is just what you'd expect from a Langdon product and they shipped it out fast! You need this!

I went with a sniper gray finish & mounted it to my M9. What can I say about the fit & finish other than Fantastic & unmatched workmanship. I mounted a holosun 507c with the included hardware per instructions last night. I just returned from my range WOW is the word. Keep up the great work LTT your the best. Semper Fidelis

Great upgrade to the classic 92

Posted by Phil M. on May 15th 2021

Red dots on pistols are here to stay, and that’s a good thing. As a long time Beretta shooter in USPSA, I was not interested in Carry Optics until Langdon came out with this RDO setup. I ordered this slide to run on my old Elite II frame with an RMR. The plate system is solid and the optic fits tight. Slide finish was ok, it’s a little thick in some places but guns wear and get beat up so now big deal. The sight picture with the RMR is a little crowded at first, because the iron sights are absolute co-witness, but once you turn on the dot and start shooting, the irons disappear. Shooting the RDO Beretta is truly an amazing experience. The feedback and dot movement are second to none in the red dot pistol space. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the front sight. After spending nearly $600 for a slide, I would expect the front sight to stay on longer than 200 rounds. A little Loctite or staking would be nice.

    Red dot ready slide

Posted by Frederick Harvey on May 2nd 2021

I originally was going to order a completel LTT Elite. I waited to long and production had stopped. So I picked up a 92x . Ordered a complete slide and trigger job in a bag. Very pleased with both products . I have transition to red dot because of eyesight. Adding both of these to the 92x Centurion was excellent and well worth it. The double and single action is great and compare well to my custom PPC revolver and Auto . Trigger pull so very smooth an crisp 6 plus double and 3.5 single action . If that's 80 percent of smooth, sending it in for the work will wonder how good it could be. With a red dot makes the Beretta 92X a great pistol. Get a little more trigger time think will be my favorite and EDC.
