11# Chrome Silicon Hammer Spring

(8 reviews) Write a Review

The Ultimate Reduced Power Hammer Spring for the Beretta PX4 and Beretta 92 Series pistols. This 11lb hammer spring will significantly reduce the DA pull weight and has been hand polished to better allow the spring to smoothly rotate in the hammer spring cup.

**If purchasing for the 92, we recommend using the 11# hammer spring for competition only**

Made the Trigger Super Light, but...

Posted by Dan on Oct 26th 2018

Unfortunately, I had way too many light primer strikes using this light of a hammer spring. This was in an M9A3 and using the Langdon Trigger Job in a Bag with the Wilson Combat Deluxe Hammer. Primers used were CCI No. 500 Small Pistol, and I was getting a light strike about 1 in every 20-40 rounds. That's way too much for me to consider reliable for competition. This has been the case in the last ~2000-2500 rounds now, so it's not just a bad batch of ammo or reloads at this point. Don't get me wrong, I love the trigger pull, but I'm gonna have to switch to a heavier spring. I may try cleaning the striker channel and will update this review in the future if I get better results.

Regardless of my experience, I'm still giving this 5 stars because your experience may differ, and you may never have a single issue. The spring does what it's supposed to do (reduce DA and SA trigger weight) so I can't knock it for that. Just know that if you're running a similar setup as mine in your guns/reloads you may run into the same issues.

    Nice Trigger Improvement

Posted by Richard Herrema on Sep 4th 2018

Have to say I was impressed with this simple inexpensive trigger mod. Easy 3 minute install. DA trigger pull went from 9 to 7 and SA went from 6 to 4. Thinking I can get a bit more.

    11# Chrome Hammer Spring

Posted by Paula on Aug 10th 2018

I've put this spring in 2 of my 92D slick slides.. It brought the DAO trigger pull weight (combined with the TJIAB) from a whopping 8.5-9lbs down to 5.5-6 lbs with not a single light strike to be had. One 92D has about 700 rounds through it while the other about 100. Couldn't be happier with the results. So much so, I just purchased a 3rd spring for my new, to me, 92D slick slide Centurion. Thanks, LTT!

Phenomenal. Immediate improvement to the double action pull. Probably dropped to the 8 lb. Range with the single action around 3.5/4lb
Took all of 5 min to replace the factory spring

    #11 chrome silicon hammer spring

Great quality spring but the Beretta D spring gives my PX4 and PT 92 a much lighter trigger pull. These #11 gave both pistols a heavier trigger pull than what I recall my stock springs gave. I thought the #11s were the lightest? Oh well.

    Immediate improvement

Installing the 11# spring makes an immediate improvement. The pistol is much easier to fire in DA. I installed this in a full-size PX4 9mm.

Dropped this in my PX4 45ACP, ~75 rounds, no issues. Double action is really light, and the single action is perfect.
